What makes an hu site an hu site
Two kinds of site sit under the same brand, and both are built on the same idea: green space with everything on it, close to something worth seeing.
The camping in town sites put you at the edge of a city without putting you in it. hu Firenze sits on the Arno, three kilometres from the Uffizi, with a cycle path running into the centre. hu Firenze Certosa is five kilometres out, halfway between the city and the Chianti hills. hu Venezia runs a shuttle to the lagoon. You leave the motorhome where it stands and take the bike or the bus.
The villages work the other way around. Park Albatros, Montescudaio, Norcenni Girasole and Birkelt are the destination, with pools, restaurants, a bar and a programme of excursions and activities.
What they share is the setting. Every hu site is laid out among trees and open green, with pitches alongside the rented accommodation rather than tucked away behind it. Facilities are the same for everyone on site: the pool, the restaurant, the shop.
